EnderGames
Hunger Games with kits: everyone starts spread over the map. The loot is in ender chests, and every player has a kit with an ability: Kangaroo, Thor, Switcher, Ninja and more. After the protection time the fighting starts. A feast brings strong loot, and a deathmatch inside a shrinking border decides. The last one alive wins.
EnderGames is a game mode (license gm:endergames); everything can be configured per task.
Setting up
- Create a task: Cloud → Spielmodi ("Game modes") → EnderGames → Task erstellen ("Create task"). 2 GB RAM is enough for 24 players.
- Maps: at least one waiting lobby and one arena. Several arenas are better, because then there is a map vote.
- Set markers on the setup server (
/gsetup tp <Karte>,/gsetup marker <Typ>):
| Marker | Map | Count | How to set |
|---|---|---|---|
lobby-spawn | waiting lobby | exactly 1 | stand there |
spawn | arena | at least 2, ideally as many as slots | stand there (view direction counts). Players are spread at random. |
spectator | arena | exactly 1 | stand there: spectators appear here |
ender-chest | arena | any number | look at an ender chest. If there is none, one appears at the start (on the block you looked at). |
feast | arena | 0–1 | stand there: centre of the feast and of the map |
deathmatch | arena | any number | stand there: start points of the deathmatch. Without these markers, the deathmatch uses the spawns. |
- Ender chests: just build them into the map. Every ender chest of the arena counts, even without a marker. A chest is recognised as soon as a player opens it, so nothing has to scan the map at the start. You only need the
ender-chestmarker if a chest must stand at that spot even when the schematic lacks it. - Finish the setup.
Map centre: the feast marker. Without it, the centre of an uploaded schematic, or the middle of all spawns for maps built in game. Rain chests and random ender chests land around this point.
How a round goes
| Phase | What happens |
|---|---|
| Lobby | Players wait and choose their kit (chest in the hotbar or /endergames kit). From Mindestspieler ("minimum players") on the countdown runs; at 10 seconds the map is fixed. |
| Protection | Everyone starts spread over the spawns with kit, compass and start items. Nobody takes damage. Time to loot. Falling into the void puts you back on your spawn. |
| Fight | PvP is on. Every few minutes there is an ender chest rain; at minute 12 (default) comes the feast. |
| Deathmatch | After Deathmatch in Minute, or as soon as only Deathmatch bei Spielern players are left: a countdown, then a teleport onto the deathmatch points. After a short start pause the world border shrinks. Building is off in the deathmatch by default. |
| End | The last one wins; coins and statistics follow. When the Höchstdauer ("maximum duration") or Deathmatch höchstens is reached, the round ends without a winner. |
Dead players become spectators. Their items drop to the ground; kit items do not. Every death or player who leaves sounds a thunderclap for everyone. Leaving during a fight gives the kill to the last attacker.
Ender chests
- Right-click opens an inventory with 2–4 random items from the Inhalt der Enderkisten ("ender chest contents"), by weight.
- Per player (default): everyone has their own loot in every chest. Whatever you leave stays there for you.
- For everyone: first come, first served, and the chest is then empty for all.
- Refill: after Wieder voll nach ("full again after", default 3 minutes) the chest gives new loot. With 0 it gives loot only once per round.
- Ender chest rain: after the protection time, new ender chests land every Alle (min) minutes at random spots around the map centre. A lightning bolt marks them, and the coordinates appear in the chat. They vanish as soon as someone opens them and give Extra-Items more.
- Random chests at the start: with Zufällige Enderkisten zu Beginn, extra chests appear at random spots.
- Ender chests cannot be broken or placed, and explosions leave them standing.
Feast
At Feast in Minute, Feast-Kisten (normal chests) with the Feast-Beute ("feast loot") appear at the feast point: diamond gear, potions, golden apples. Place and time are announced Ankündigung vorher minutes earlier, then every minute and during the countdown. /endergames feast shows both at any time. Optionally the Feast-Plattform builds a grass disc with free space above it. If the deathmatch starts first, the feast is cancelled.
Kits
Players choose kits in the lobby. Free kits are available to everyone. The others are bought once with coins and then belong to the player network-wide. With eternal.endergames.kits.all, every kit is unlocked. Kit items are soulbound: they cannot be thrown away or put into chests, and they don't drop on death.
Cooldowns show on the XP bar (your real XP progress comes back afterwards) and, from 1.9 on, above the hotbar. A sound plays as soon as an ability is ready again.

Coins are paid for the win (Coins für Sieg) and for every kill (Coins pro Kill). This needs the Coins module on the server. Kits are bought with the same coins.
/endergames stats [player] shows wins, games, kills, deaths, opened ender chests and K/D. The data counts network-wide; the dashboard lists it with the game mode.
